Why does the Android app crash if you try to add food? System and app both up to date.

Hi there @Kate1860, awesome to see you one more time in the Fitbit Community! I was reading your post that the app is crashing when you try to add food. I have seen this issue before, usually this happen when the app is not running the latest version.
I'm aware you have made sure to have the app updated. However in some scenarios the app might not receive more updates if the OS of the device doesn't support the new version. Of course this is just a theory, so lets try to review this:
The most recent version can be found in the following post. Now with this information compare the version with the one in the Fitbit app:
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
- Tap or click Help. You'll see the app version at the top of the screen.
If you do not have the version mentioned in the previous post. feel free to update the app from your Google Play Store. I'm sure this will help to improve the app stability.
Keep me posted how it goes.
