App Data Makes no Sense

I picked up 7 zone minutes sitting on my couch watching church. The sermon wasn't that exciting nor did it touch upon my favorite sins. My watch has fewer zones minutes than the app. Is the app just making stuff up?

@Boggledorf either way, you should check your heartrate graph. It is possible that your thoughts may elevate your heartrate. Also sitting stil may cause your heart to work harder, because your (other) muscles don't help with your blood-stream pumping.

That's why a cooldown is important. If you don't do a cooldown, then your heart must do all the pumping of the blood, while when you're active your other muscels help the blood-stream.

It never happened with the old app.  I have a pretty good handle on when my heart rate is up and when it isn't. If it was truly in the cardio zone at that time, I would call a cardiologist STAT.

The point is, the tracker (what tracker do you have?)  sometimes gives wrong readings. Therefore the cardiologist will not give much value to these readings.

And if it is a one case situation, then it's not a big deal, I think. I'm wearing my watch relatively high on my wrist and not very tight. Only when running and training I set the band more tight.

I've compared 3 different heartrate measurement devices and all 3 gave a different readings.

I don't think it is an app problem. That would be very strange. And then there would be lots of complaints about it  and I haven't seen any.
