I used to be able to manually recategorize a generic workout after the workout was completed. I can no longer do this after the last update. Will this be remedied?

Hi there, @Mwest10195. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your workouts. I understand how important is to you to be able to edit them.
Would you mind trying to edit your activity once again? Looks like we did have an inconvenience with the option to edit your activity, but it seems to be solved now. I tested one of my activities and indeed, I was able to edit my stats as usual.
Let me know if you can too.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

No, it is not resolved. When I get to the Edit Exercise screen it will not let me highlight the workout to edit it.

I'm having the same issue. It shows the pencil icon to edit, but the name can not be changed.
It now stays as "workout" or "weights" in my case

I edited an exercise yesterday (10/24) without a problem. I have an iPhone.

Hi @Mwest10195. Do you use an Android phone? Other Android users have this same issue. If so, then the best forum for this thread is the Android app forum, not a device forum. @MsKay2016 Do you also use an Android phone? You don't need to start a new thread, since this whole thread can get moved to the Android forum.
The feature works as expected on my iPhone.

I have recorded the same issue in this forum. Not fixed.

Same same with:
Google Pixel Watch
Google Pixel 7 Pro
Restarting the app, clearing the cache and restarting the phone all not resolving the issue.
Here's a screen recording of the issue. I go to edit the time on the app, because I forgot to end the workout before driving home, the edit appears to save and then the edit reverts.
