FitBit app is draining my android phone battery. ()New Charge 2). I have "Charge All Day" turned off. Any suggestions?

Do you have the new version of the app, v2.33?  Do you have All Day Sync and Always Connected both turned off.  Mine currently shows only 7% of battery usage.  What does your phone battery usage show?
