App becomes unresponsive during exercise

When I go into app to Pause then Finish exercise the pause button does not work. I have to reboot my phone for the app to start working again. This is happening more and more frequently. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app. The app is fully updated. In the last 5 days it has frozen 3 times. Is there an issue with the software? Is there a workaround other than rebooting the phone each time? Would appreciate any help

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I was able to see that you have already contacted our Support team regarding this. If you still need help, please feel free to contact our team back as they already have all the details and special tools to continue assisting you. Additionally, I recommend trying the following:

 

  1. Force stop the Fitbit app: open your phone's Settings > Applications > find the Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache > go back and tap Force stop. 
  2. Reboot your phone.
