App crashed when ending a run, now GPS data won't sync

ended my first half marathon run and the app froze after holding the finish button and ended up crashing. now the run is saved as two exercise events on my phone, one the autodetected run from my Charge HR and the GPS run which is now saved as a walk and has the wrong map picture the data from the run seems to be split between the two entries. on the dashboard online it only shows the run without my GPS 'walk' visible at all. I've included screenshots of what I'm looking at.....help fixing this so it's one even that has all the data and syncs online.

this is the run without GPS data, shows heart rate and calories burned but no distance.....if I try to edit it all I can do is change the activity but I can't add distance or any other information.

this is the "walk" has no pace or calories but shows all my steps and the GPS data also there is no edit button so i cant change it to a run or add any data to it.

bah frustration...please help, I'm afraid to delete anything or and remake them as I will probably lose the GPS data or other things....also I've got Fitbit set up to sync with Strava and this event didn't sync with it either

Update: happend again the next day after a 10k this time. when the notification popped up saying the app was frozen I hit 'wait' instead of 'force close'. It stayed frozen for about a min and I had had the same notification again which at that time I elected to 'report' the crash. While writing the report I guess it figured itself out as once I was done the app was running normally in the background with everything saved and synced as it should be. So now I know what to do if I encounter this problem again..... Just need a way to fix the data problems I'm having with my original run.

... The thread you link to is for iOS, I'm on Android. Is it safe to assume
the error exists on both OS?

After reviewing your thread, seems the iOS folks are having a problem of crashing while tracking exercise.

Mine tracks fine just crashes when I try and finish and save; corrupted some of the data in the process resulting in the weirdly saved data and no sync.
