My app won't open at all. I have reinstalled and restored my android device all to no avail. 

I just got the Luxe and I am trying to setup it just keeps saying error.

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the Community forums for the first time, @EKDixon.  

Thanks for sharing all of this information about the issue with your Fitbit app.  

There were some general issues with the Fitbit app crashing for a few days, but this should now be resolved and you should be able to use the app as usual. Please try to log into your account once more, as it should be working properly now.
