App keeping phone awake

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The andriod app is keeping my phone 'awake' and draining the battery in a few hours.

The phone is a Oneplusone, which I don't think is officially supported, but it was working fine until a few days ago (although tempermental about syncing, but I've learnt to live with that)

I've switched off all day sync.

Is there anything else I can do?

Is this a known issue?

My only current option is to delete the app, which would be a shame - I've been a member since 2012!

Welcome to the forums @Marysuzanne

Have you tried turning off bluetooth unless you're wanting to sync?

It's nice to see you around the Community @Marysuzanne Smiley Very Happy, welcome aboard! Have you tried what @Odyssey13 advised? Did it work?

I'd also recommend doing the following:

  • Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date
  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App

Keep us posted!
