Hi,
So Have had my fit bit Versa and the app installed for serveral years now on my Xiaomi mi max with only a few issues over that time.
I have recently been getting syncing issues but it was manageable if I rebooted I could sync.
However I was trying to sort out another issue that has just come up (won't give me a sleep score for about a week), and one of the cures (from the fitbit forum) said to uninstall and reinstall the app again as one of the things that might help so I did just that I uninstalled the app.
Now I can't install it again as it is saying in the play store that it isn't compatible with my device.
In all honesty I have had my phone for years and can't really change it right now but to have this happen is more than distressing.
I understand that it meant that some functions wouldn't work as advertised but hey I have been using it this long.
Can any one tell me how to get round this ?

Hi @Jacqui1811 once removed, if your phone doesn't meet the minimum requirements, the Play Store won't show as having it available. I have an older Android tablet and when I search for the app, it doesn't appear. Since Google has removed the previous versions of the app, there is no workaround for you. Do you have a newer tablet or computer you might be able to use?

WOW.
Thanks for responding.
So disappointed in FitBit for that.

I'm confused, this is not the expected behavior as explained in this post when I asked this very specific question. Version 3.43 should be still available for all Android 7.0 users out there.

I had a similar problem. My Inspire 2 would no longer sync with my android version 7.0 phone which was 6 years old and the battery dying all of the time. However, I could sync my watch with Fitbit on my Chromebook. Today I bought a new phone, Android version 11, so no more Fitbit problems and no dying battery issues. But, it just cost $450!!! Ugh!
