I am experiencing my app not showing up on desktop. I have to keep going to play store

It probably won't be on your desktop unless you put it there. Open the Apps display, locate FitBit, grab it an drag it to the desktop. Or, go to Settings, Pesonalize, Add Apps and Widgets, and add FitBit app to the main screen. Otherwise, you will have to open the Apps screen and seclect FitBit each time to open it.
