Yesterday my app stopped reflecting any steps from my Fitbit One. Has been working fine forever but it essentially wiped out all steps since last Tuesday morning even though it’s showing my active minutes, etc. Miles are also missing now and calories only show partial. Sometimes it will sync to show todays steps but when I click to see detail it’s all zeros and if I go back a day it shows the same number as today. And then it will disappear again. Was there an update to the app with a glitch? The fields are all there on my dashboard but the numbers for steps/miles have all gone to zero.

I'm right there with the rest of you. I prefer the One and have been using it for 10 years. The old dashboard worked great. The app is so frustrating. I spent time with a very nice, patient service rep on the phone on Wednesday to download the app and get it started. It showed my current steps and he thought all was well with the world. Wrong. It wouldn't synch with Weight Watchers (which I need to do to control my health insurance costs through my employer) and it won't save the information for the day to the app. I spent another 3 hours with support chat today. They were very patient as well, had me send them screen shots, and in general seemed like they were trying to come up with a fix. I recorded the One's info at 11:59 tonight and had over 9,000 steps. Now at least it is recording yesterday but it recorded it at 1,923 which is the number it has been opening with each time I opened the app today before it updated to current steps and that is the number it reported to Weight Watchers. It is obviously having some kind of conversation with WW but it is incomplete and it isn't holding current data to record for the day. Everything else back to August is at 0 activity. I don't want a wrist device. I have a Samsung LTE watch and don't want to use two wrist devices. The watch is because I don't carry my phone when I walk the dog but need something for communication in case of an emergency. It doesn't track steps well and the battery needs charging every 14 hours so invariably sometime throughout the day I forget to take it off the charger when dog and I go for a stroll. I'm frustrated that what was simple and worked has been replaced with something no one knows how to program or fix. Right now it is pretty useless to me and occupying way too much of my time. My case has been escalated up the ladder. Will see if anyone can come up with a solution. I'll bookmark this page and report back if they are able to fix it for me.

I also have a One and am continuing to have issues with my app not displaying my data. I've had my One for over a decade, the lack of effort to find an appropriate fix after 3.5 months is highly disappointing. Can someone at Google/Fitbit please give us a meaningful update on when we can expect our data back?!

Absolutely agree. I'm so frustrated and irritated with google's lack of attention. I did get a message that the "team" is aware of the problem and working on it, but in the meantime, my phone and fitbit batteries are draining quickly and the app is still garbage and sending garbage to my WW app.

I have had the same issues as everyone else on this thread and have tried the same fixes. I’ve had the One over 11 years and I haven’t even had any problems with the battery. It still lasts for several days. I still sync it with the app every day. Sometimes the data show for a moment, but are gone the next time. However, I still get weekly reports and the steps and other data are recorded somewhere because I can see the weekly totals in the report. Anyway, I had already purchased an Apple Watch a year ago in anticipation of failure at some point. I like the watch but it is not as accurate as the One, records fewer steps. Still hoping this issue with the One gets fixed.
