App not tracking steps

I've realized that the Fitbit app is no longer counting my steps. I am using my Samsung note 10 as the mobile tracker. I've unpaired my device, restarted my phone, added my phone back and still no luck. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi @mshaka, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you are using a Fitbit device or just MobileTrack? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Looking forward to your reply.

I've recently noticed the issue but it appears that my steps haven't been
tracked in the Fitbit app for two weeks or more. I've already uninstalled
the app and rebooted my phone, reinstalled the app but it's still not
working.

Thanks for your help

Thanks for your update @mshaka.

I appreciate the details that were shared with me. To further investigate, can you please let me know if MobileTrack is still paired with your Fitbit account? It seems that this specific feature of the Fitbit app was unpaired and this is the reason why it's not tracking your stats, however, if it's paired, this will mean that the issue is with your mobile device. That said and if such is the case, please try using this feature with a compatible device and let me know if the issue persists.

I'll be waiting for your reply.
