App not working on Huawei

I only received my Charge 4 yesterday. I downloaded the app and set everything up. I was at the gym yesterday and it seemed to work OK and track my workout. The problem was this morning when I clicked into the app it didn't work. It stalled for a second then backed out.

I tried reinstalling the app (3 times) and even the old fashioned turn off the phone and turn it back on again. I tried the online chat only to be told it has to be escalated. Barely had the device 24 hours and already having issues with something as simple as an app.

Anybody else had this issue with the app? Not sure if it's connected to the phone make or not.

I've gone through that and tried some of the fixes. Nothing seems to work. If the escalation team can't resolve this for me I'll probably just return it- no point is having a device that won't work with my phone. My phone model isn't mentioned on that list but must also be affected.

Can't understand how it was fine yesterday and only caused issues this morning.

The newest app for Android is rolling out. I have 3.45.1
