Hi I've upgraded to Google Pixel but the app just won't work. I can't sync my Charge HR. The App starts, i try to enter my login details & error message pops up "App not responding. Close or Report". Same happended when i trued to work the app on Panasonic Eluga A2. When will i be able to use the app on the Pixel?

Hey @Bruser2727 and @Madhavi13!
@Madhavi13 thanks for that update. It's great to see members of the Community sharing their workarounds. I'll be sure to keep it in mind for any other situations where this happens.
@Bruser2727 Great to hear that reinstalling it worked. Seems like that is a way to go about the app while on an unsupported device.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.

A very warm welcome to the Forums @Madhavi13!
After checking on our supported devices list, I could see that both of the devices you mentioned (Google Pixel and Panasonic Eluga A2) are not on the list. Since the devices are not supported, it is not possible for us to guarantee that the app will work properly.
If you have a compatible mobile device to download the app or perhaps a computer to download the Fitbit Connect software, it should let you sync your Charge HR.
Let me know if you have any further questions!

How do you not support Google's flagship phone?

Hey @Bruser2727! Welcome to the Community.
We're regularly updating the list and working to bring compatibility to more and more mobile devices. Because of the optimization required, we're not able to support any and all devices out of the gate.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for the response! It is the Pixel, so it’s stock Android. Doesn’t that mean it’s the easiest to support and optimize?

Hey @Bruser2727!
Not exactly. The hardware of the device and the way the software runs might be slightly different from phone to phone. While the android version might be the same (6.0 for example), the composition of the devices are not necessarily the same and this differences need to be optimized for.
Like I said, the app might work correctly and allow the tracker to sync with no problem, that is a possibility. However since we have not officially optimized the app for that phone, we cannot guarantee that it will work at 100%.
Hope this clarifies the situation a bit!

I see. Well , so the engineers know, the last version worked. The current one does not 🙂

Hi. Thanks for the response. I uninstalled & reinstalled the App on Pixel. It seems to be working fine as of now.
