App screen ratio changed

I was playing around with the app a couple of days ago and the screen ratio changed (got smaller, with black space on either side). I can't seem to get it back to a full screen ratio, and I'm disliking the smaller screen view. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this?
