App setup and connection issues with my ionic

i just picked up my fitbit ionic and i am have an issue with it connecting with my google pixel xl so i can set it up. my phone can find the device no problem but it will not connect. please help i loved my fitbit blaze and i love the ionic i dont want this investment to go to waste.

Hello there @zander971, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I still don't have clear if you ware able to set  up your tracker and the issue is at the moment to sync? Or are you having troubles to connect your Ionic to your Fitbit Dashboard?

 

If the issue is limited to syncing your information from your tracker, make sure the Fitbit app us updated to the most recent version. A new version was released to improve the stability of the app. For more details please refer to this post.
