App syncing someone elses data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My aunt's data from her Versa wasn't syncing to her app.  When I went to look at it her app on her phone all of a sudden was reading MY data from my Versa Lite. When I looked at my app on my phone it was only showing calories and not showing sleep. (it had been showing everything fine until she was having an issue)  I realized that mine had disconnected from my app completely and was able to re add it once I left her house.  I still do not have her issue resolved.  HELP, I am baffled!!!

It sounds like her fitbit is bluetooth-connected to your phone.  Which device does her phone's app show - your Versa Lite or her Versa?  Perhaps did you set it up for her on your phone first?

I would suggest she go into phone's bluetooth settings and see if it shows your Versa Lite.  If so, unpair it.  If it still doesn't sync to her phone then (after several tries), go through 'Add a device' setup again.

Just realized I am assuming she and you are set up with different Fitbit accounts, hopefully.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

We have separate Fitbit accounts.  This just happened all of a sudden. They have always worked fine.  I will check the bluetooth settings but I don't understand why this happened! lol. Her app was showing my Versa Lite's data and disconnected from my app.  She's 87 and only uses it to monitor her heart rate and sleep patterns.  So she could have changed a setting or something.  Thanks for your answer!!

You will want to remove your tracker from the Bluetooth on moms phone.

Apparently at some point you connected your tracker to moms account. Now you have to connect moms tracker to moms account.
