I have a Huawei p20 lite which has the operating system Android 8.0 Oreo, the version of the Fitbit app is 2.86 and my Fitbit is a charge 3. The Fitbit is syncing but it takes multiple attempts and is painfully slow, I also don't get notifications and my Fitbit constantly reads that I'm all caught up and that my sleep isn't tracked etc. It's basically just not syncing properly. Some days it doesn't work at all until I restart the phone.
There seems to be a lot of people complaining already about the Huawei phones not working properly with it but I presume this is an issue with the os which as I said is Android 8.0 Oreo which I've also seen has been tested already. Apparently the notifications bug was fixed with app version 2.56 so have these bugs come back in later versions?
I thought originally the issue could be my Bluetooth headphones but the problems persist whether I'm connected to them or not and in any case having read so many messages about huawei phones I'm guessing it's a lack of testing of the os with these fitbits. If there's something I can do about this please let me know, though I seem to be lucky it's working at all!

I think the issue is with your phone. Fitbit say:
"Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:

There are many posts from people with that phone that report that it does not work at all or it has intermittent issues.

Thanks! Unfortunately I didn't see that before I spent 150 euro on the Fitbit! Hopefully it will manage to work at all until they can update the app to work with these phones
