App won't allow me to add another device

Hi,

 

I'm trying to connect another Charger HR device to my account but the app won't let me. I only get the option to replace my old device which I don't want to do.

So I just downloaded the Windows app to see if it would make a difference and using the Windows app, a message came up saying I can only have one device connected? I thought multiple devices could be connected to one account.

You can have multiple devices connected to one account, but they have to be different models.

So I'm not allowed to have 2 of the same device? That's ridiculous. I have a job that at times can get messy. I wanted to use one fitbit during the job so that I don't need to worry too much about it getting dirty and the other fitbit for the going out/after work. 

 

Both of the Chargers work fine except that one has some wristband damange. It is unfair that I cannot connect both simply because they are the same model.

I have new charge 4, I have a nice leather band for it and wanted to keep my old charge 3 for working around the house. Are a charge 3 and charge 4 not different models?
