In the app I have the automatic time zone activated. As I am a truck driver, I travel through multiple time zones. After one time zone change the app will shut this feature off, and I have to retoggle it on. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just me? Is there a way to fix this?

@jaxdad05 , nice to see you here. Thank you for your message.
Do you have the automatic setting on your phone and on the Fitbit app?
Normally the trackers and watches overtake the time from the device it las was synced with. Meaning: if sync your watch/tracker with your phone and it will take the time of your phone.
Soo you'll need to set the new time on your phone for the Fitbit to take it.
Hope this helps.

The problem is it will change time zones once, and then the automatic setting in the app turns off. This is still an issue after multiple updates and a new phone. The problem is with the app, and looking at the questions, has been since at least 2018.

@JuanFitbitThe problem @jaxdad05 described is still an issue. The auto time zone toggles itself off cconstantlyt. For me, it happens all the time in the same time zone. I do all the actions suggested in these forums and nothing changes except my frustration level! At least one forum has the solution of turning off the auto setting and changing the time zone manually each time. That's NOT a solution for an auto feature!

He said he went thru time zones, so my guess is that he noticed this because his time changed on his phone. So let's get to the problem, the Fitbit App automatic time zone toggle only stays on until the phone is synced to the Fitbit and then it shuts itself off. This toggle needs to stay on so that we traveling folks get a sync to the correct time zone every time we change time zones.
Any real answers yet?

Ok, here's the Real Best Answer that worked for me.
Log Out!
On the Fitbit app, tap on your picture top left and scroll to the bottom to log out, then close the app. I suppose you could clear cache as well.
When I logged back in, both location and automatic time zone were toggle off, but I turned them on, did a sync and for the first time in 3 months they stayed on! My fingers are crossed....
Good luck!

I got home, and it stuck on my previous time zone. When I checked, automatic time zone had toggled off again.
What good is a watch that doesn't give you the correct time?
Sorry for the false optimism!
