Badge count stuck on the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Despite getting 15,000 steps at least once per week for the last several months, it continues to say I've only reached that milestone 531 times. The 15,000 mark updates to the nrw date I reach the milestone, but the count is stuck on 531 every time I reach it again - it never goes up.

@Dneilitz Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you regarding the badges on your account.

Thanks for the explanation. Would you be so kind to make a screenshot of the issue, like two separate days? Have you checked the Fitbit.com website to see if the same amount is shown there?

  1. Once logged into the community, tap/click on your name. This will take you to your community profile.
  2. Then tap/click on "Go to Fitbit.com profile".
  3. There you will be able to see a list of your badges as well.

Please confirm if the counter is stuck there as well.

It could be an issue with the app and the information displayed in it. Please make sure that your Fitbit app is up to date. Open the Google Play Store and look for the Fitbit app. If there is an update, please proceed with it and then check the badges again.

Have a nice day!

@Dneilitz Thanks for the reply.

Please note that the image was not attached. Attachments from an email reply are not carried over. In order to post a screenshot or an image, while writing your response in the community you need to tap/click on the camera symbol. This will allow you to upload a picture to be posted along with your answer.

Understood, app is up to date. Would you be so kind to check the Fitbit.com website? That way we can confirm it is the app or the counter is stuck altogether. Another question. Does the same thing happen with all badges? Thanks in advance.

@Dneilitz Thanks for the reply.

I assume you tried to send the screenshot as well. Please note that in order to post a screenshot you need to be on the Fitbit Community website. When you are writing your reply in the community forums you need to tap/click on the camera symbol. This will allow you to upload a picture to be posted along with your answer. This does not work from your email address though. Thanks for your understanding. Did you also check the Fitbit.com website to see if the badge counter is stuck? Thanks in advance.

Ok, sent the screen prints twice using your instructions - they're not coming through so I'll just tell you what they were:

For 15,000 badge:

Both the app and the website has the date, November 15th, 2022, however:

App said 531 times, website said 600 times.

Sent also the Minion Badge - Stuart - both the app and website same date of Nov 15th, 2022 however:

App said Earned 126 times, website has a much higher number over 200.

Same for all other badges ... so all badges are no longer counting in the app, only in the website.
