Hello @Shlomo-T and @DramaQueenDiva!

@DramaQueenDiva's suggestion is a very good one. Having said that, if you do not get the badges at all, I'd recommend logging out of the app and then logging back in. Regularly that helps the Dashboard to load up all of the information correctly.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hello @Shlomo-T!

I would be patient with receiving badges.  Sometimes Fitbit gets overloaded with badges (several people earning them at once).  If you synched your tracker, they should have it on record that you received your badge(s) and they should be awarded in the next few days (my guess is within 72 hours).

Let me know if I can be of further assistance!

Thanks, I appreciate your quick reply, but actually I have been getting all
my badges on time. I think you misunderstood my message. the problem I was
reporting is with the feature in the app (under Account and Profile) which
counts how many times I have earned a particular badge. Let me explain more
with an example. Let's say that the app shows I earned the 30k badge 10
times, last earned on February 1. Then let's say I reach 30k again on Feb.
4. My app immediately updates it to show I last earned it on Feb. 4, but
still shows the total times earned as 10 (not 11). Then let's say I hit
30k again on Feb. 5, Feb. 6 and Feb. 10. My app accurately and immediately
updates the DATE of the last time I earned the 30k badge, but for some
reason, it will still show I earned it only 10 times, even though by now it
should be 14. This problem has persisted for at least a year now. It's
not a matter of patience or fitbit taking a long time to award badges. As I
have said, the DATE updates instantly (no problem) but the number of times
earned never updates at all - - unless I actually delete the app and reload
it. So it appears that the problem is really a glitch in the app, not a
backlog of badges.

Thanks, Lanuza. I hadn't noticed that you can log in and out of the app.
I tried it now and it actually does work - - it causes an automatic recount
of the number of times each badge was earned. And it's a lot easier than
deleting and reloading the app.

Hello @Shlomo-T

Those are some great news! It is always a good practice to log out and then back in whenever there is any issue with the information not showing correctly.

Hope to see you around the Forums.

I have the same problem. My badge count does not update on the Android or Windows Apps although it's always correct on the website. Logging out and back in again does fix it but I have to do that every time - otherwise the badge counts are stuck although the date is correct. This has been the case for a few months at least. See example screenshots below, both taken just now.

Thanks for bringing this up. I will be letting the rest of the team know that it continues to happen. In the meantime I'd recommend that you continue to logging out and in. As soon as we have any news on the matter we'll be sure to let everyone know.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Just wondering if there have been any updates on this? My wife and I have noticed this is happening recently, and it is a little bit frustrating.

I have seen your suggested solution of logging out and then back in, but if that needs to happen every time to get it to update, as other users seem to have stated, then it's a very clunky solution, and a bit annoying.

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forums @maverik1085.

Unfortunately we do not have any updates at the moment. The only thing that I could recommend is to continue logging out and in. It is definitely not ideal but it is the best workaround at the time.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

@LanuzaFitbit thanks for the response.

It's a shame that there's not a more permanent fix at the moment, but I look forward to any updates around this.

Thanks.

I uninstall and re-install the fitbit app so I can get my count on the badges.  Having to do this everyday to get the correct count for the badge, is a pain.
