Barcode scanner defaults to front facing camera

Currently on version 4.32

Camera permissions set to allow, tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app numerous times. No option to switch camera.

When you press the bar code scanner.. there should be a little icon up top.. mine is on the left, hit that and it switches the camera mode

Only option on mine is for the flash

Do you have myfitnesspal? See if it works on that or just scan a bar code and see what happens.. I think it’s a camera setting

I don't have MFP.

It doesn't scan the barcode when using the front cam. I've tried hold barcodes to it but it does not seem them. This is the only app stuck on the front cam, every other app that opens the camera will go to the rear cam.

That’s odd, wish I could of helped, I’m currently in contact with Fitbit support on the X app in DM you may try there.. they do respond
