I've seen some posts on this before from 2015/2016, but seeing as it's been a few years I was wondering why the food scanning option still doesn't work? You could have expanded it by miles by just letting users scan their own foods in (like they do in MyFitnessPal). Is this something that is being planned? I'm rather annoyed that I purchased a product which had this advertised as a function, only to learn that it is actually useless.

Hello @ClumsyDumpling.

 

At this moment we do not have anything to announce in regards to the food scanning feature in the UK. If you have the time, maybe you could try to vote for this suggestion about it. While it is listed as 'Not Currently Planned' you can still vote for it to show your support.
