Hi, my fitbit was fine until the other day when I tried to charge it. Now it won't take a charge and will sometimes show a red battery with an explanation point through it.

This sounds like a device issue, not an Android platform issue. That said, this help page has the recommended troubleshooting steps to try: Why isn't my Fitbit device battery charging
