I hope this is in the right place. I have a Google Pixel Watch 2. I have been using both the Google Fit app and also the Fitbit app on the watch for tracking exercise but I thinking having both is a little much. Which provides the better overall experience, Fitbit or Google Fit? I've started to lean towards Fitbit but I wanted some feed back from other users.

Hi @Glenuendo
You're in the right place for your question.
Personally, I stopped using Google Fit a while ago, especially after I got a Fitbit. Based on posts I've read from other Product Experts (volunteer users who help out on the product & community forums), there isn't as much support for Google Fit as there is for Fitbit. There are hardly any posts on the Google Fit forums, so PEs rarely visit.
To me, it seems that Google is more focused on maintaining & evolving Fitbit. They did a lot of work & improvements to the Fitbit integration for the Pixel Watch 2. It could be that once Google has gotten Fitbit to be more in line with their other products (app, user interface, features, etc), they might eventually end Google Fit. Considering that Google announced that all Fitbit accounts have to migrate to Google by early 2025, I'm wondering if Google Fit might end around the same time.

Thanks for the reply. It does make a lot of sense what you are saying. Added to the fact there is really no nutrition tracking, it doesn't seem like it is really worth it to keep Google Fit on the watch.
