Blank Tiles

Does anyone else have problems with the tiles showing up blank on android?  (please see screenshot)

It's very frustrating and happens several times a day. Maybe it'll go a whole day without happening but very rarely. All I can do is log out/in but it never settles for long.

Now,  I DO use a Sony Xperia xz, which isn't currently supported but my main question is whether this happens on other SUPPORTED devices.  I understand that not all features may work correctly on an unsupported device but it would be interesting to see if it's a glitch that happens with other users.

Hi, @DeinGesicht! Really interesting! I've never seen that happen on my supported device. My tiles can take a while to load, but they're either there and not showing data or not there at all, like I don't have a tracker associated with my account, I've never seen them there and blank.

Thanks for that.  Interesting to see that even on supported devices the tiles don't load properly, seems fitbit can't get them right even for official devices Smiley Sad

I have had this happen too. I also use a Sony experia . I think it was only once just after the current (cough) update. Since then I have noticed that everything seems very slow to catch up with any info going in, the tiles take ages to update their images despite the info being correct when you open them. Another update another snafu.

This is all so tedious.

Further to my previous remarks at the moment the tiles only appear to update if I restart my phone. The degradation in the ease of use of this app. is truly disappointing. After the total disaster with synching that we suffered and the fiasco with GPS (fortunately I don't use this) and other ongoing problems you would think more care would be taken not to foul it up even more. Are you sure that your developers are working for you and not Garmin or any other of your competitors?  It's all very well marketing your new toys but who will buy them if you can't keep the previous ones functioning correctly.
