I did my first adventure race this week and the map was grey. I have tried multiple things, logging out of my Fitbit app, shutting my phone down, restarting my phone and logging back in. No luck. Uninstalling the app and reinstalled the app. Checked my location and security settings. My phone is up to date 6.0.1 version. The app is up to date. I am at a loss. Can anyone help? Not sure how to get the screen shot to come up.

Turns out that I used amazon app store to get Fitbit app. It kept telling me no updates when there really were updates I needed. So I used Google play store and now I have the latest app. So I can now see the map. Thank you for your help!

Hello @Missmelb, it's nice to see new faces around the Fitbit Community. Is your map not visible as soon as you get in to the race challenge or is when you zoom on your map when it become blank? If you don't mind to share a screenshot, it will be pretty useful to have a closer look.
In the meantime you can try the steps from this post, the scenario is different but the troubleshooting steps can apply for this scenario.

That's great to hear, I'm glad you were able to update the app to the most recent version by accessing through Google Play Store.
It's important to keep the Fitbit app updated for all the features work correctly, constantly we are releasing bug fixes and improve stability of the app to correct this type of issue you were experiencing. Nice to see all is good now.
