Hello
I am on Android 7.1.1.
Fitbit Firmware 17.8.401.3.
Been having this problem for almost a month either map is not captured or it is being mapped as straight line. I am sure there is a loop in my run.
Any idea how to solve this?

Based on what I see in your post, my guess is that your Blaze is not connecting to your phone. If I understand your situation, I have had the same issue. It took a few times to notice that a vibration in my Blaze indicated an issue. In the upper left corner of the display is an icon indicating that the connection to my phone is lost.
Up until the last Android App update, I have been able to reestablish the connection in a few minutes by bringing up the android app and processing a manual update. The icon on the blaze disappears when the connection is reestablished.
I haven't been able to fully diagnose. However it looks to be a limitation on my Bluetooth bandwidth, Internet bandwidth, or my phone CPU. (I stream music to a Bluetooth headset.)
