Blaze not responding to pairing by new phonw

I purchased a new Samsung S8 and when trying to pair it with Fitbit Blaze I receive the message:

Pairing rejected by Blaze, Any Ideas as to how to correct this problem?

Yes @dellis, stop trying to do what you did not do when you set the Blaze up in the first place.

 

The correct way to switch phones is:

- Install the Fitbit app

- Log into your fitbit app

- Your app will try and sync, everything is setup in the app, it may ask for permissions and to turn on location services. You will need to grant access.

 

Your now all setup.

Hopefully you did not remove the tracker from your account, if you dod you will need to set it up as a new device.

My phone is syncing to my blaze. The blaze will not receive any notifications (calls, text message, email notifications). Thank you for your assistance
