I'd recommend that you follow these steps to get your Fitbit to sync.
Additionally, please check if your phone shows on the compatibility list. Incompatible phones are expected to have issues with the app given that it has not been fully optimized to work with that phone. Having said that, as long as your phone has Bluetooth 4.0 and at least Android 4.4 there is a possibility that the syncing could work. The steps above could even help if your phone is not on the list, so please give them a shot.
