Samsung 9+ notifications not compatible

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Recently I just bought the Samsung 9+, and my Fitbit wouldn't get notifications from my phone. We went into the settings and the compatibility for notifications with the Fitbit and Samsung Android 9+,  only went up to Samsung Android 8+. Is there going to be an update to where notifications are compatible with a Samsung 9+?

I also have a Samsung S9+ and I get all notifications as well as phone calls.   Which Fitbit do you have? Check to be sure your settings are correct.

It should also work worth your Charge 2.  Re-read how to set up notifications for the Charge 2, the phone works great with Fitbit.

Welcome to the Forums @Big50 Hello @swim4lifekac, thanks for coming in to help.

@Big50 The Galaxy S9+ and the S9 are not a part of the compatible device list and as such there might be issues with the app, like notifications not working. The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users that have been able to sync with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), it might work without any issues.

In case it didn't, you can try these troubleshooting steps. Some users of incompatible phones have found them useful.

Note that we don't guarantee that the synchronization would be will be successful as we are still testing on this phone model.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
