I am able to pair without a problem but the only time I receive notifications is when I'm logged in on the phone's Fitbit app. Is this the way it's supposed to work?  I thought I read somewhere that you didn't have to be logged in to the app. On the phone I do show "Fitbit Notifications Notifications are running" even when logged out of app on phone.  Please advise. Thx.

@Fish100, I never log out of the Fitbit app, I just close it and then re-open it when I want to sync the tracker or view the statistics.
