Blaze notifications not working

I have a Samsung s7, and I can get phone call notifications, but not text or calendar.  I have tried EVERYTHING- the instructions, tried reinstalling, nothing is working at all.  Help??

After playing around for hours, I FINALLY figured it out.  On text notifications on the fitbit app, I have to select mysms, not the actual message system i use (which is mighttext).  Then my texts come through!  Time will tell if I get other messages this way (hangouts, messenger, etc).
