Unable to update application on Motorolla MotoXPlay

Hi Fitbit community!

I've had my Fitbit since December 2015 and have found that customer service is pretty awesome. I was wondering if any of you were able to update the Fitbit software on Motorolla MotoXPlay. I have tried many times and have always failed. I've restarted my bluetooth connection, closed/opened the app, closed/opened my cellphone, nothing works. Is this something I should be updating from a computer?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Ennaxela, it's great to see that you've a positive experience with the Customer Support team.

 

Make sure you've followed all the correct instructions to update the tracker's firmware and that the model you're using is in the list of compatible devices as well. If you find any trouble during this process, you can follow these steps to resolve issues during the upgrade process.  I hope this helps, keep me posted.
