So I unpaired my Blaze from my account and threw it on its charger this afternoon. I have a galaxy s8+ and still trying to find a way to get the blaze to work with it. I went out and came back a couple hours later. I went to re-pair it and noticed it had reordered 3000 steps? How is it possible. It had a dead battery and was in a box on my table. I heard there was an update so took it out and charged it while I went went out. I come back and it shows it recorded 3004 steps.

Hi there @goneeuro, good to see you here in the Fitbit Community! My first though would be to review if there is not an activity logged during the time of those 3,000 steps show up on your Dashboard.
Note that your tracker sometimes due to external factors like small vibrations can read this as steps but is not a common case, so the most probably is an activity might be increasing your total numbers of your step count.
If there is an activity and you didn't do the exercise or was recorded by error, just delete the entry and your steps count will go back to normal. Note that due to subtle movements a few steps might be recorded.
Let review this and keep me posted how it goes.
