Blocking challenge invitations

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I want to block all those challenge invitations. I tried disabling challenges in the notifications settings, but they just keep popping up. And after I delete them and hit done, they all pop up again. I've chatted with reps and they give me the same instructions to disable the notifications, and it DOESN'T WORK! I am Beyond frustrated at this point! HELP!

Hi @Joysmile  have you any friends? It starts with friends inviting you and then if you accept any of those invitations, people not your friends can hit "rematch" and invite you to the next round of challenge. You disabled all notifications from Fitbit? Normally you can't disable one area but all of them. You must be getting a lot of invitations. Sorry you're frustrated.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Joysmile. Thanks for the input @Odyssey13.

@Joysmile I see where your frustration is coming from and thanks for the details provided. You mentioned that the notifications pop up again after you remove them, are those notifications from new challenges or are they the same that you just erased? How often are you receiving those notifications?

I'd also appreciate if you can attach here a screenshot of the notifications' settings from the Fitbit app. To do so, just click on the camera icon and choose the screenshot to upload it to your reply.

Catch you later.

Thanks for your response. They're the same notifications that I've just tried to delete. As soon as I hit Done, they pop back in again. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Hi, @Joysmile.

Thanks for the update. Please try the following:

1. Go to your phone's settings and tap on Apps > Fitbit.
2. Under Storage select Clear Cache.
3. Go back and select Force Stop.
4. Restart your phone and try again to delete the challenge invitations.

If it's still showing the invitations, please share with me a screenshot of the notifications' settings from the Fitbit app.

Hope this helps.

Hi. I can't see a finish to this post but it is happening to me. I get daily challenge challenge every single day and I'm getting sick of it.

Please can you make it that if I decline a challenge I am not asked again, constantly. The rematch button should only contact those players who joined the challenge, not the players on the original invitation list. Thanks
