It's nice to see you around the Community @yadstuff !
If your Android device is managing multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously, it may have difficulty syncing with your Fitbit tracker or sending call or text notifications to your tracker. You may also experience interruptions with any consistently streaming Bluetooth connection such as headsets, car kits, stereo audio, tethering, and file transfers. These interruptions are typically due to an operating system limitation on several Android mobile devices. You can try turning off the Always Connected option in your tracker settings (in the Fitbit app, tap the tracker tile twice) to reduce interference with other Bluetooth connections.
To improve syncing or to receive call or text notifications on your tracker, remove interference by disabling other Bluetooth connections on your Android device.
It's also possible that an app on your phone is interfering with the Fitbit app's ability to use Bluetooth. Several apps that use an API developed by Ford Motor Company make it difficult for the Fitbit app to reliably perform Bluetooth functions like syncing, receiving call or text notifications, and others. Some of these apps, like Pandora, are common. You can review Ford's list of apps that use this API, though other apps not on the list certainly use the Ford API as well. To use the Fitbit app successfully if you have one of these apps installed, you'd need to disable Bluetooth on the problem app (some apps allow this) or opt to uninstall it.
Hope this helps my friend!
