A very warm welcome to the Community @Chezza1.

That sounds very bothersome. I'd like you to check if the Blaze shows up as a paired device on your S8. To do that, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Bluetooth settings on the S8.
  2. On the list of paired devices, look for the Blaze.
  3. If it is there, remove it from the list and then try to run the setup process once again.

Finally, I'd also like to recommend that you restart the Blaze:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

A very warm welcome to the Forums @1dolly.

If you're trying to pair it to your mobile device through the Bluetooth settings, the tracker will not pair up correctly. You need to pair it up directly to your Fitbit account using the Fitbit app. Download the app and log into your account. Once you're there, go to the 'Account' tab and select the 'Setup a New Device' option and follow the instructions on the screen. Your tracker will then sync properly.

Hope you find this useful. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes I know but I wonderd if that was the reason that notifications do not
work and also exercise tracking does not work, one of your colleagues sent
across some things to try but it is still the same, any more suggestions?

For your information I have recently changed my phone from iPhone to
android notifications worked with the iPhone but the exercise tracker did
not kept saying check fitbit app?

Help would be appreciated.

Hey @1dolly.

It could be that the tracker has bonded with your iPhone and that's why it won't sync with the android. Let's try the steps I mentioned in my first post on the thread and see how it goes.

Keep me posted on how it goes. Let me know if there are any other questions in the meantime.
