Bluetooth Won't Find Flex

My FitBit Flex suddenly quit syncing to my Android phone yesterday. The last sync was at 10:18am. Now, when I try to search for the device, BlueTooth doesn't even pick it up. I have uninstalled the app and then reinstalled. Powered my phone down and then back on. Turned Bluetooth off and on many times. I hit the Reset button on my charger and none of these options have helped. I don't have a clue where my dongle is at so syncing with my computer is not an option at this point. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can you tell us how? This has been a daily issue for me both with trying to sync with the dongle on the laptop AND using the Android App.

@TDGARDENS Have you tried the suggestion in this troubleshooting help article? Let me know how that goes.

tried it so many times it isn't funny. Every day, multiple times a day, for
a W-E-E-K!

That's why I went out on my own to experiment to see if Bluetooth was
having an impact.

Had to wonder since my wi-fi / 4G / Bluetooth devices are essentially
co-located that the App was confused. Apparently it was. As soon as I
turned off bluetooth and forced sync, everything updated ... including the
phone app while the bluetooth was off!

Don't have a flex, have an HR but here's what I did.

Primary source for syncing: laptop with dongle. Had my Android phone nearby
(it usually is anyway).

1. Turned off the Bluetooth in settings for my phone.
2. Opened the Desktop App (Windows 10) on my computer.
3. Clicked the cycling arrows to force sync.

It took a minute, but the dongle found the HR and everything synced (2
days).

While I was looking @ the dashboard on the desktop App, I got a Fitbit
notification on my phone with one of the usual automated props ("almost
there, get xxx steps" ... that sort of thing).

NOTE: I had NOT turned Bluetooth back on at that point.

I waited about 30 minutes just to see if it continued to sync (I use all
day sync). THEN I turned Bluetooth back on.

Did I have to wait that long? Don't know. Just decided to give something
that was working time to actually work.

It has now been 2+ days and the Android App is working just like its
supposed to.

Hope that helps ...

I tried all sorts of things as suggested with Bluetooth, couldn't understand why 3Rd party apps like BLE could no longer detect my One. Finally found some instructions to connect the fitbit to my pc, then turn the fitbit off then on. This invoked a firmware update (how was I supposed to know it needed one??) following which all is well, smiles.
