I have a Samsung Note 8, a Fitbit Versa. The Fitbit app on my phone is keeping my phone from auto reconnecting to my car. If I disable the app, no problem with Bluetooth auto reconnecting. Everything and I mean everything is updated to its fullest. Anyone else have this issue, anyone have a solution to the problem? I believe I’ve tried everything imaginable.

Hello @SunsetRunner
Thanks for sharing all of the steps that you have tried.
It is very possible that this is happening because the Galaxy Note 8 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app is not fully optimized to work with that phone.
There have also been several recent updates to the app, which could've caused further incompatibility issues. It is possible that it can work as long as the phone fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, but we cannot guarantee it. If you haven't, some users have mentioned that following the steps in this article has helped them when using phones that aren't on the list. Maybe you could give it a shot.
It is important to note that there is a Note 8.0 on the list, but it refers to a tablet that was released a number of years ago.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best Answer@SunsetRunner hello, there is a thread "fitbit app interfering with Bluetooth car connection" somewhere on here. To my knowledge the problem has not been solved. You may still want to have a look at it to see if your problem is the same.

Hello @SunsetRunner, and @Lilbiddy. Welcome to the Forums @frs37.
Thanks for your feedback @frs37.
If you have the time maybe you could vote or comment on this suggestion to include the Note 8 on the list. Be sure to also read the FAQ if you have any questions on how that board works.
@SunsetRunner Glad to read that it is now working for you. I've seen some cases in which an update on the phone has helped.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
