Body Temperature

  • Since my Versa 3 has no way of measuring body temperature, I suggest that you arrange for a connection to the apps associated with the many smart thermometers that are on the market. The two apps that are of interest to me are: Kinsa and MedM Temperature Diary.
  • I am aware of your tile for Body Temperature. It only allows manual data entry. The chart that is provided is not up to the same standard as other charts in the app. You can use the charting in the Weight tile as a good example.

Hi @cawolfe39  - what Bluetooth device are you using to measure temperature?

You could make the suggestions here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/idb-p/features

The Fitbit App temperature tile graphs skin temperature and allows manually entering core temperature to 2 decimal places [but only shows to one] and provides no graphing for either.

Skin temperature is shown as deviations on a moving baseline and is only an indication that can easily be affected by environmental conditions.

Given you already have a good recording of temperature in your current apps it is improbable that Fitbit will consider adding it to their app even though the idea is a good one.

I am using a Kinsa QuickCare thermometer which is connected with Bluetooth to their app. It has no charting features. I disagree somewhat with the statement that I already have a good recording of temperature. While I do have a good record of the raw data, this data would be more useful if presented in a good chart, like the one that Fitbit provides for body weight.

I mentioned MedM; I recently discovered that I am unable to connect my Kinsa with their app. So I am really only concerned with the Kinsa connection.
