I got an Inspire HR today and I'm trying to set it up, it switches on and the screen works but every time I try to set it up I get to the firmware update stage. It comes up with an error message every time, it says "updating 1 of 3" then quickly says "! Could not update". It says that the phone and device are synced but the firmware won't update as I said, and the fitbit screen just says "fitbit.com/setup". I've switched off Bluetooth, removed the device from my app and re added, uninstalled the app twice, resterted the device about five times, tried it on two other peoples phones. Is there anything I can do, has anyone had this problem. I am so disappointed.

Same here - i have done the same "troubleshooting" hints as SGall did. Nothing helped so far.
The FitBit Software shows firmeware Version 34.3001.40.50. Don´t know if this is relevant.

I have tried everything I can since noon when I received my Fitbit. Nothing has worked. I am 94th in line to chat now

I'm pretty annoyed about this but somehow feel less bad if other people are having the same problem... Have decided to bring it back to the shop and maybe even upgrade to charge 3. Don't feel like giving the company money right now but my want for a good fitbit is greater!

Let us know if anything comes of it!! I've more or less given up but if there's a solution I'd love to know what can be done

Today early in the morning, i tried to setup it another time and it worked! Progress bar on the mobile and Inspire. It´s working since the morning.
Maybe there is a backend problem?
