Hi Guys,
I just received my Fitbit surge a while back. Was very disappointed to see that I am not able to get any call or message notifications. Was exepcting this to work atleast since it is one of the primary functionalities of the watch.Initially on receiving a message on my phone, I received a message alert stating "New Message" on my phone.No details regarding the sender or body of the message!!.Now even that is not working.
I checked the forum here and found out that many are facing these issues.Disappointed to say non the less.
I have tried all possible suggestions from my fellow surge users on this group nothing works.Can someone help me out here?Is this doable or should I look for other better options?
My phone details Samsung Galaxy S3 Android version 4.3
Fitbit app version 2.20.1

I have an Android Samsumg 4s, running 5.02 and all I get is "new message" and nothing else. I'm thinking that the additional information is for those running iOS.

Welcome to the Forums @SaviPaul! Yes you can receive call and text notification from your Android device. To enable this option you only need to take a look at this thread. Thanks so much for your help @Odyssey13!
