App version: 3.6.1
You can no longer choose your own calorie intake goal. The app only gives you options for a deficit. Even if you would like to gain weight it still only gives options for a deficit based on how ""intense" you would like to make your plan. This would be helpful if you could adjust it however the app has already calculated my BMR incorrectly, therefore my deficit is way off. I have researched with health professionals and nutritionists to determine a healthy deficit and weight loss goal for myself and I can not use this goal in the Fitbit app. I am disappointed because I am paying for a premium subscription but I can't accurately use the food log with my plan.

Hi @Audreyagreed, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? It was after the Fitbit app was updated? So we can move froward with this, please provide me a screenshot of the issue you're experiencing. You can refer to this post to do so.
To learn more about how your BMR is calculated, please check: How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I use the Samsung Galaxy s9
I'm not sure exactly when this started happening because I have been using a different app to calculate my weight plan and food logs because since at least April 2019 fitbit has always gave me a very unhealthy (low) calorie goal.
