Calories burn higher than usual since april

Hello

I have google pixel watch 3, ever since april i'm having problem where the calories are higher than usual, usually by 3PM i'm having 2 to 3K burnt calories reported by fitbit and the watch, ever since the april it has increases drastically, ever since i joined the public preview 

Providing some screenshots for comparison, does anyone have idea why?

I am having the same issue! Though mine is even higher somehow! Apparently I have burned 3k calories in my sleep?

What helped me was to reset the watch to factory settings ( essentially removing all updates ) and the tracking went back to more reasonable figures ( there's no way i burn 3K calories while sleeping... )
