Calories burned showing differently on watch, app, and food log (calories out)

Having some major calories burned issue here. I have a Charge 5.

I noticed today it started stuffing up the calories burned number.

On my watch right now it says I burned 396 calories.

Then at the same time the Fitbit dashboard shows me burning 413 calories.

Then inside the place where you log and track your food it shows me having 1411 'calories out'.

I already hit midnight and thought it would fix the problem but then after syncing the watch with the app it happened all over again.

I have force quite the app and restarted, uninstaller the app and reinstalled, disconnected the Bluetooth and repaired. Restarted my phone. Nothing works.

I attached screenshots.

Please help! I didn't change settings.

Same issue here.

Same here, any solutions?

Nope. They claim to be working on a fix, but there has been none in two weeks. It was briefly corrected for a few hours last week (with no app update, which probably means server side services), but it came back, so I'm not even sure what they're doing...

I raised a ticket with them when I had this issue and had been following up with them. They said they are aware of the issue and yes it seemed to work a week ago for a brief period but then it is failing again.

The customer service is pathetic and they said there is no timeframe for a fix. One would think that brainy Google staff would be able to fix this in a day or so. Nope. Affecting users and clearly do not care. I don't think I will be purchasing another Fitbit or Google watch

Google's reputation for having the top technical talent in the industry is completely undeserved. If anything they're well below average. But they're enormous, so they can just pretend problems don't exist and nobody can really do anything about it.

Totally agree but their customer service is also very pathetic. The guy who raised the ticket for Marc Anthony is a dud. He kept telling me to do really stupid things like have you restarted the app please reinstall the app and restart the phone. He wasn't even aware up till 2 days ago there was an issue on their end and then stopped replying to me altogether.

They need to.hire better staff and stop outsourcing their customer service to the Philippines
