Hi,

Does anyone know why Fitbit app does not show how much calories were burned after exercise? I have ' - ' in place where calories should be.

It's great to see you here @Zuza0306.

I appreciate the attachment provided and want to let you know that I have moved your post from the Versa board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to find more answers related to the Fitbit app.

Now about your calories, I recommend logging out from your Fitbit app, go to your phone settings, then access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

It sounds like the same issue the Ionic can have with the Android app?

@WavyDaveyThanks for linking this issue to the Ionic Forum.. If it's an Android App problem maybe that whole Ionic topic should be moved here, but, then again Fitbitters may miss it if it's not in Ionic.

As I posted earlier, it's just not the "--" calories. When you try to edit a Workout on the phone it crashes the App. The first message is "Restart the App", you try again, and the message is "Close the App".

Clearing cache etc doesn't fix this and in the link you provided there is a long email posted by a user, a copy of an email from their Support Case acknowledging there is a problem..

We have had 16 App upgrades since this was first reported,, when you do change the Workout name on your PC for the Ionic, the result shows speed instead of calories on the phone. At least we can see the results on the PC and by swiping sideways on the phone.

Now to add confusion from other testing today it would appear it's the Versa and the Ionic because I just created a Workout on the Blaze and the Surge (this is multied with my Ionic and One) and I can rename them without crashing the App. The Surge came back with speed instead of calories and the Blaze had calories..

So I leave it to @AlejandraFitbit to help sort out the issue...

I have The same issue. What does "as soon as possible" mean?

Best Answer

@Spoonmaster"As quickly as possible", seems to mean, no action.. Because after 5 months there is no change.. I found if I edited the Workout on the PC and gave it an existing Custom Activity name then synced, the "--" calories changed to speed in the phone view.
