Calories out

Calories out has stopped working in the app. It's counting on my charge 6, everything is syncing apart from Calories out. Another app issue i fear.

As already mentioned on my post(selected as best Answer) our team is aware and is looking into this and will work on a solution afterwards. 

Hopefully this gets solved soon. 

We will update the thread as soon as we receive further information.

Mine has continued being broken. Every 24 hours I have to disconnect my 6 and reconnect it. Then it synchs correctly. So frustrating!

Glad I'm not the only one. And yes I agree, it's so frustrating. If it's
not one thing then it's another. How is it called a tracker, if you can't
track.

Has this been fixed yet?  I am experiencing the same issue. Calorie out in the food section not syncing with calories burned.

Hi, @Lem5 & @poppyL, I've replicated your experience & note that if you sign out from your Fitbit app & then log in again, the "Calories Out" bar repopulates. From the "Today" screen, touch your Icon in the top right corner>Fitbit Settings>swipe up to the bottom Sign Out>confirm>Now sign in again with Google on this green screen. Touch the "Food" tile & you should be on track again. Let us know how you get on by posting here again.

My calories out bar came back a couple days after my post but now I can't add custom foods. I'll try logging out/in.

I'm glad to read that the issue got solved for some of you. 
To keep monitoring this, please let us know again, who is still having the issues with the missing calories. 

Regarding the ability to edit the food, we have merged almost every report here. Please follow this thread so that you get the updates at the same.

Thanks for your suggestion. Signing out and back in worked and all delinquent days corrected themselves.

Just wondering if there is any news on the calories out. When it works, two days it doesn't, then it'll work but something else will stop. This week I have had to force shop the app three times for calories out and uninstalled it once. Then it works. Today forced stopped it, because it wouldn't sync my exercise, after two force stops it works. Now adding calories out and it's stopped working again. Charge 6 is doing everything it should, its just this app. I feel a switch over Christmas to another brand, two spring to mind, because I know people who use them (one is a PT) with NO ISSUES. Unlike the fitbit app.

I have to force stop the app at least 3-4 times per day. It's beyond ridiculous.

In a previous part of this thread another member suggested signing out and
then signing back in. This worked for me and now it captures the calories
out correctly.

My calories out seem to be working but there is definitely a lag where it'll take a couple refreshes to update. I did sign in and sign out of the app and that sorted things a bit. I thought I read somewhere that Google will be updating the app. So far premium users are previewing the update and it'll eventually roll out to everyone. Hopefully, that fixes all these bugs.

Look like the update's happened - I'm now on 4.56 from 4.55.

And guess what, still broken.

Clearly a well reported bug that impacts a fairly major part of the app. doesn't matter. Well, my wife will be getting an Apple watch for xmas now, not a Fitbit, and I may well follow.

A terrible attitude. Please let us know if this isn't the update referred to.

Is this what your update looked like. I still havve issues with calories out that only seem to work if I restart my phone (I have an Android phone.)
