I've been looking online and in my settings for a way to make the FitBit app run in the background on my phone, or at least for a way to consistently sync my FitBit (Versa 2) with my phone with the app closed. So far though, the only thing I've found is a post on the Pixel forum that got closed after telling the poster to check here. My phone is a Google Pixel 6A, running Android 13, and all my devices are up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Nebakenezer - there may be issues on Android 13 as it's relatively new.
If you have battery savings on, this can shut down things like Bluetooth, location or the Fitbit app, all needed for syncing. The Fitbit App should be doing this automatically all by itself.
Also try pressing the home key to leave the Fitbit App.
Other things that may help is to restart both watch and phone in case there is a temporary issue if you are having syncing problems.
